Nodal arrays
- Main goal : in combination with profiles, detailed imaging of the upper crust and volcanic systems of the Chaîne des Puys, Monts-Dore and Sancy volcanic regions (down to 15-20 km depth).
- 625 nodes in 3 dense networks (grey and black dots on the map)
- a medium-density network (inter-station distance 7 km) covering the entire study region, Chaîne des Puys, Cézallier-Monts Dore and Limagne fault (black dots).
- two denser networks (inter-station distances of 1.5 to 2 km) on the Chaîne des Puys and Monts Dore (grey circles).
- Instruments : Geospace Seismic 3-component nodes from the FLEX-Epos instrument pool (Finnish Universities). Internal batteries, geophones 3-c 5 Hz.
- Nodes installed for one month in October 2025. Installation from 15/09/25 to 26/09/25 ; Recovery from 27/10/25 to 07/11/25.
- Approximately 280 person-days will be required to deploy and remove the networks.
- Reconnaissance : spring-summer 2025.
- Estimated data size (250 Hz sampling frequency) : 3.8 TB
